Marlize A. graduated with Honors from the Art Institute of California - Hollywood in 2011 with a Bachelor of Science in Graphic Design. She continued enhancing her skills with courses at Art Center College of Design, Otis College of Design and Gnomon.

She worked in the Video Gaming, Cosmetics, Jewelry, and Apparel design industries as Designer for more than 10 years. She worked for 5 years in the Video Gaming industry at Performance Designed Products. She designed products for Licensors like Disney, Marvel, DC, Nintendo and more! Her thirst to advance in the design industry lead her to acquire 3D skills, she learned 3D modeling, 3D printing and rendering on the job. She worked in both corporate team environments and as sole Designer handling a project from the concept board and seeing it through to the final mass production stage. Her projects were displayed at events like E3, Comic Con and sold at stores like Wal Mart, Best Buy, Walgreens and more. She worked in the Cosmetics industry for several companies like NYX Cosmetics for both the Marketing and display teams and many more like Allegro, Beyond the Beauty and so on. She always had a passion for illustration. She creates whimsical illustrations to evoke emotions that have been buried under the day to day stresses of life. She uses a dreamy style to enhance the emotional state of her work. The motive in her style is to dig deep to wake feelings that have gone lost in the daily routine of our lives, to hault time for a moment and allow the viewer to peak and mirror his/her life and remember a given emotion.
